We need to take note of Benzno's comments on the # of awards. After all, this is the man who graciously lends us his woodshop for one day a year.

We could do some as certificates, suitable for framing...

I'm mainly in agreement--what was "greatest show on surf", anyway?

Every year we go through the same process--let's have more awards, then we stick to the same ones.

Drunkest Panda has been something of a tradition--we might want to keep that around.

Panda of the Year was supposed to reward positive mental attitudes about the game, as well as doing things off the court & on that are good for Panda Corps. Winner was also supposed to MC next yr's ceremony. We can drop the award & just ask people before curtain rises who they want to host next year's Natties.

To be accurate Best Server and Best Spiker were not awards last year. Those are important aspects of the game though, and therefore are good as awards. Panda of the Year and Drunkest Panda are good too.

"Best Serve" was an award last year--I think I split it with Jess. Best Spike was not.

Game film shown at the ceremony will help as well.
