Ok people, we have to nail down a date here. I have heard that December 17th is most likely. Creeps has commented on another thread that he cannot make this date. Lets take a roll call for this date and propose some alternatives. Considering Creeps is high in the running for ROY, we might need to change this. |

The problem is what works for P & B, which was either This weekend or 12/17. We've been through this before. Despite what some gung-ho pandas may think, this weekend does not leave enough time to call people to produce the desired turnout, discuss the desired awards, and then produce them. So, if we don't do 12/17, we either lose the wonderful venue or we don't do December. And if we don't do December, most people will forget there ever was such a thing as water volleyball, and turnout is likely to decline. The longer we spend talking about dates, the less time we have to prepare. There is always the option of putting off the gala until some nebulous date in the far future that everyone can make, at least in theory. In practive??? Something always seems to come up for somebody, and then the scheduling process begins all over again. But hey, this is a Pandocracy. So, if a plethora of pandas prefers some other date or conditions to conduct the ceremony, speak by 12/2 and name an actual date or forever hold your peace. |

I've just decided to switch our Friday schedule to Monday, which means that the test we take each Friday on what we learned during the week will now take place on Monday before we've learned it. But since today is Tuesday, it doesn't matter in the slightest. |
