Hi friends, As some of you may know, or have heard, the Markides corporation is temporarily relocating to Melbourne, Australia. Bunny hit a home run and got a fully paid and salaried PHD program at Deakin University. The program is 3 years and she starts in March 2019. I am so proud of her for this accomplishment. The school is one of the best in her field and they will be doing exactly what she wants to do. Its only 3 years too (versus 5 to 6 in the US and most other places). Given that and that they are paying her to do it - its a no brainer and something to sacrifice for and make happen. We have been working with our families and friends over the last months to try and see how to make it work. We are selling our company (Choose Food), our house, and I was most awesomely laid off a week back too and have a great severance from that shitty job I hated. So its a go. We are both leaving this February. We are setting up a room at Chief's spacious mansion for when we are visiting Austin. I do plan to have a job with remote flexibility, and thus be here for some weeks/month every summer to ball, because I hate winter and Melbourne has one of those from June to September. Many thanks to Chief for helping us out. I am sad I only get to launch volleyballs at all you for just one month out of the year, but c'est le vie. See you at the awards ceremony, which will have to be in late Jan/early Feb before we hit the road! College boy |

Have fun down under! Sounds like y'all are stoked. I'm guessing you will visit New Zealand a few times while you're there along with other places. Also, I had to chuckle at "... I was most awesomely laid off a week back too and have a great severance from that shitty job I hated" -Steve |
