I will give you credit for great ambition. However, even in our youngest and friskiest days, Pandas could do 1-1:30 (which is why you say noon, I get it).
Another problem--Arrrgosy could function with 4 players--4! You're asking for 12. Don't see how you'll get em.
Prophet of doom that I am, I suspect you might get 8 to commit. And someone will blow it. Maybe more than one. So the rest of us will wait around, for hours, trying to make something happen. At best, scrubs will be gathered to fill in the gaps, because, in my philosophy, playing is better than sitting around and not playing.
Miracle of miracles, I showed up at 2:30 once or twice this year. Even when I arrive at a "respectable" time of 3-3:30, I'm always having to push to get people in the pool this year. And I think actual game in every case got going around 4-5.
Here's a suggestion that has, in years past, always motivated me and my boys--how many sanders can you bring out at "noon," Lippy? You bring between 4-6 of them, I bring an equal number of Pandas, we do best of 3 then mix up the BBG no matter which way it goes thereafter, and maybe, just maybe, we can make it happen.
Would be fun, too, because my hate for sanders has declined this year since guys like Javie (correct spelling) and the tall guy who plays pepper frequently with Misty have come in and enjoyed themselves, without commenting loudly how much water volleyball sucks. Imagine that! Next thing you know there will be peace in the Middle East!
For what it's worth, I will accept your proposal, with the caveat that noon means kickoff at 1 on 8/17. Me and mine have have a considerable commute to consider, you do not.
So, there ya have it. Now we are 2. You have doubled your numbers. 10 to go...
