Reports indicate Deerfield was shut down by the local rent a cop tonight.

Well, we can't say we haven't been down this road before. Question is, what is to be done?
Last time, the majority of pandas opted for this strategy:

I implore you not to go down that road again.
I've been told countless times this summer that this is a perfect venue and a fine replacement for the Argosy. Now it's looking like it goes down after one season.
I've also been told on the subject of Deer in no uncertain terms on this site, STFU, "We" got this. I concur. I'm just a soldier now, especially down there. However, I do have 20 years of experience, or thereabouts, on keeping an obstacle alive, albeit barely. And there appears to be a crisis.
So, unsolicited, here's what I got:
If you want to keep it, you've got to chief it. I suggest a meeting of southside pandas to figure out what to do, and drink beer and get safe, of course. It is in your best interest to work together to decide on a course of action. Both for the present and the future.
Quitting now and coming back next year won't solve the problem--management and cops have a long memory. Doing what you're doing, and hoping no one will notice, won't solve the problem. See Mirage.
Fraud through bracelets is a quick fix, but a cheap trick that reminds me of Deto--the place is too small for you to get away with it for long.
What else ya got?
I look forward to the report of the Council of South Side Elders regarding the course of action going forward, and await my orders from same. Two days until the weekend.
The question on the table is, "is our pandas sanctioned?"
