I can understand why the so-called Riata leadership is ducking my inquiries in this venue. But you are only delaying the inevitable. Seal Team 6 is waiting.

So if I take the scenic drive Saturday at 3, will there be game? I will come alone (this time) with only such weapons as are needed for personal protection--a volleyball and my Natties.

Apparently Riata really has no opening day any more. I don't think it passes the health codes until it has a thorough scrubbing. Lots and lots o' scrubs. They ought to film the next episode of "Scrubs" there.

I'll give my report, since I've managed to contact the survivors up there--security is now tight sometimes, so we need a briefing again before people can roll in.

I will continue to roll up there whenever possible and bring down worthy players. For reasons that escape me T-Bone continues to refuse frequent invitations, but is doing a decent job as semi-chief up there.

A continuing annoyance is people who call "next," then disappear, altogether, or reappear late and then are mad they've been skipped, or the ones that come out of nowhere claiming they've "waited long enough" to play.

Building a squad of 6 trustworthy players is still very difficult. This should not be so, given the large population.
