Let me be the first to post here congratulating Team Pandas in their second victory over Team Ilumenators. Team Pandas went undefeated in their appearance at the 2nd Annual Water Volleyball Tournament this past Saturday at the Ilume in Dallas beating both Team Ilumenators and Team Dragonflies.
I can say that I personally had an even better experience with our games this year than I did last year. Having been through it the first time last year and spreading things around to get others to help this year, I think over all we had a decent party with some intense water volleyball games...two things that I think we all love. I guess that means that we have time to plan for making year 3 even better than this year.
All-in-all, the day seemed to much smother for me as it played out and we seemed to have more in attendance than we did last year. The games were certainly more intense and seeing the level of skill in the pool gives me great hopes for the future.
Chief, I hope that you have walked away this year seeing me more for my strengths (and weaknesses) and I likewise for you. Let's take on those things of ourselves that are indeed our strengths, allowing those strengths we have to grow what we're doing, and look to find ways to overcome our weaknesses that would or could prevent creating something that has momentum to bring more players into the game. Being better organized and planned for next year's playing schedule (bringing structure to the organization) will mean the difference in just succeeding, and being able to blow the doors off of it during our whole summer next year...which, by the way, will commence about April 15 in this neck of the woods.
Congratulations again for your skill and victory for a second year in a row. We so look forward to what we can do together next year. Did anyone say, "Player Draft"?
