Half the outer fence is down, and the Obstacle is now encircled by a orange lattice construction boundary.
I think there just might be a chance they could re-open by next weekend! |

Bold statement, from someone who is taking a stroll, no skipping, nay--prancing down washout lane.
Let's discuss the incredible shrinking superstar, before he disappears completely up his own primary aperature. |

It's upon us, pandas. Do we have a plan? I prefer to discuss it now, since I'm too computer challenged to check the website from home, and I'd like to get a chance to get my beauty sleep rather than having people call me bright and early trying to figure out what's going on. All contingent on weathe... |

As LJ called it, so it was. We spent the weekend battling at Mirage. I don't remember much about Saturday--I forgot to eat (did I mention I lost 5 pounds?), but I didn't forget how to serve. However, games were a bit strange, in that big leads tended to wither as attention wandered and mismatches we... |

Indeed. It looks like they may be on track after all. Bricks have been replaced with stone. Most of Obstacle deck has been torn up. I lost a ring down there back in 1994 or 95. I wonder if they'll find it? Net and poles are still sitting out at job site after being taken down, which is a good sign, ... |

I'd like to officially lobby for the 4th of July to fall on Friday instead of Wednesday. And while I'm at it, Saturday will be renamed Chiefday. |

Message from Deto--the bridge is washed out, and the phone line. We all knew that, but this time it is literally true. So he wanted me to announce that poker will have to find another venue tonight. |

A tile & coping truck has showed up today and there was a small swarm of worker bees with buckets buzzing about the Obstacle when I left for work today.
I think we're only entering week 3, and it already seems like an eternity |
