I was only given one Everlasting Marlastopper. One is enough for everyone, and one is too many for Jess! |

8/25 We ran at MDF 8/25 (Fraterday) sans Shizzle. Ford & Jess showed up. Beyond that, I don't remember much, except being real tired by day's end and not moving for shots that weren't in my immediate strike zone. Once again learning that Fraterday is not a good way to have game. I think some oth... |

OJ also loved the net at the Lion's Den, which approached nearly four feet in height when sagging. |

All in the name of attracting students. Just where I would want to move to--a place where the pool is closed and you awake every morning to the sweet sounds of contruction. Genius! |

Another one of those Fraturday combos for me... After a disappointing trek to Trammor, we decided to head to MDF, where the Shizzle awaited us. Clearly his intimidating stature and all around obnoxious behavior frightened off the locals, for there were none to be found. So we had a grand ol time wit... |

You forgot AVP meets AWVP. We got a chance to play against a guy who played volleyball at the professional level. It's very rare for me to have a problem fielding serves, but ths guy was binging world class heat. All I was doing was putting my hands up and the ball would either go out left, out righ... |

The net is unplayable as is, just like I said it would be. Red and 2 out of 3 Jims witnessed and agreed. Now the poles are high enough that another net could be installed, but I tend to frown on doing this in the middle of the afternoon. Our Johnny Appleseed net program is not likely to be understoo... |

By now the Obstacle should be full. They applied second hose. Worker bees were sighted at the Obstacle this morning. However, Spoons tells me the sad news that it will be another TWO WEEKS until it is open for business. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V17duGlHEYY 2 weeks appears to be the Argosy equi... |

It hasn't yet. The waterfall is still there, so maybe by this afternoon someone will either figure out they need to move the hose, or nature will take its course. |

The wrong pool is full. I would take the hose out and put it in the only pool that matters, but they'd know who did it.
Spoons upstairs asked if the pool would be ready this weekend & they said "maybe." Which means no. |

Hold on to your water panties, pandas. The pools have been resurfaced and I believe they are filling the big one via garden hose. So far ladders have not been affixed and are hanging on the outside rails. |

And I sympathize and wish I had an answer. But you can't really have it half way--you are either in the net and get called for it or you don't call it. The problem is that so many of us are in the net when we hit or block. This means enforcement would be a problem. People may think it's a great idea... |
